I grew up in the smoke, before I knew what it was.

How do I use it, and where do I put it on the body?
One drop is plenty, it's stronger than it looks. Put it on the inside of each wrist, the throat, behind the ears, anywhere you'd wear a scent. Warm it with your skin and breathe it in slowly. You can also cup a drop in your palms and take a few slow breaths, or add a few drops to a diffuser for the room. No smoke, nothing to light. There's no wrong way.
Is it safe for dry or sensitive skin?
Gently, yes. Frankincense is one of the softer essential oils, but it's still pure and concentrated. If your skin is dry or sensitive, don't wear it neat, dilute a drop in a little carrier oil first (jojoba, sweet almond, even olive), then apply. A small patch test never hurts. On dry, sensitive skin especially, an essential oil is always best worn diluted.
Is it real, and who makes it?
Yes. Pure Boswellia sacra oil, distilled by us in Salalah, Oman, from the rare jade-green Hojari of the Dhofar mountains. We source it, distil it, and GC-MS test each batch, so we know what's in every bottle. Nothing added, nothing stretched. One thing, from one place, by our hands.
Is it truly the green Hojari grade?
Yes. The jade-green resin, not the yellow or white so often sold as Hojari. The green is the rarest, and the oil is softer and brighter for it.
What does it smell like?
Clean, green, quietly sacred. Fresh resin, a little citrus, a little pine, a little honey, then it settles warm and still on the skin. Not a perfume in the usual way. Frankincense, as it is.
Can I take it internally?
Yes, if you'd like to. It comes from a food-grade resin people have taken for a very long time. A drop in honey or a spoon of oil, never water, and slowly. It isn't medicine, so if you're pregnant, nursing, or on treatment, please ask your doctor first.
How is it different from burning the resin?
Same tree, distilled instead of burned. You carry the scent on your skin, with no smoke and nothing to light. The quiet, wearable form of the same ritual.
How soon will it arrive?
From our own warehouse in Poland, usually the next working day. Order over a weekend and it leaves Monday. If it's a gift with a date to meet, just tell us, and we'll do all we can to get it to you in time.
Can I try a sample first?
Not at the moment, I'm sorry. We offered samples once, and we're working on bringing them back. Until then it's the full bottle, but you're not taking a risk on it: you have thirty days to open it, live with it, and change your mind.
What if I open it and don't love it?
Then it's not, and that's alright. Open it, breathe it in, live with it a few days. If it's not right, send back any unused bottle within thirty days for a full refund. No fuss at all. We'd rather you had the right thing than keep the wrong one.
