Frankincense is gentle enough for most skin types, but we still recommend diluting with a carrier oil like jojoba or fractionated coconut — especially for larger areas. For pulse points, a single drop applied neat is fine. Listen to your skin.
This oil is crafted for aromatic and topical use — diffuse it, inhale it, wear it. Some traditions do use frankincense internally, but we recommend consulting a practitioner before exploring that path.
We recommend consulting your doctor or midwife before use. Frankincense is traditionally avoided in the first trimester. When in doubt, diffuse rather than apply.
Most frankincense oil is African Boswellia, mass-distilled in hours. Ours is Omani Hojari — jade grade only — slow-distilled for six hours. Different species, different process, completely different oil.
