Which resin do I burn when
However the evening feels. Hojari, black and white together, is the grounding one, clean and quiet. Amber is warmer and sweeter, good for long low-lit nights. Dragon's Blood is the deep one, resinous and clearing, the one to reach for when you want the air to feel new. After a week you'll know your own order without thinking.

Place the charcoal in the burner and touch a match or lighter to one edge. It will spark and crackle.
With the tongs, never your fingers.

Wait until the charcoal turns grey-white all over. Then it's ready, and only then does the resin go on.
Never on a live flame.
Choose a resin, lay on a tear
Pick one of the three and place a small piece on the glowing coal. Start with less than you think. You can always add more.

I sort the Hojari by hand in Dhofar, and I choose the three so each brings something different to the fire. It's the set I'd hand someone who wants the whole range, without the rare green Jade. Light it, and live with it.

The Trinity is the whole range in three resins. When you want the whole harvest, the Alchemist adds the rare green Jade and 150g of Hojari.
Before you choose a resin.
What's the difference between the three resins?
Hojari grounds, earthy and balsamic with a bright top. Amber warms, soft, golden, sweeter. Dragon's Blood clears, sharper and redder, a different tree from Socotra. Burn them side by side once and you'll never mix them up.
Can I burn them together?
Yes, but learn them separately first. Each has its own voice. Once you know them, blending becomes intuitive. Hojari and Amber together are especially beautiful.
How long will everything last?
Two to three months with regular use. Enough to build a real practice, and to know which resin you reach for and when.
Which one should I start with?
The Hojari. It's the most forgiving. Burn it for a week until the ritual feels yours. Then bring Amber into the evenings. Save Dragon's Blood for when you need it. You'll know when.
What's the difference between Trinity and the Alchemist?
Trinity is three resins, the whole range of moods in one box. The Alchemist adds a fourth, the rare green Sultan's Jade, plus 150g of Hojari for the everyday, so you won't reorder for a long time. If you want the range, stay with Trinity. If you want all of it, go to the Alchemist.
Is this a good gift?

How soon will it arrive?
